Archipel Academy, a Zaltbommel, The Netherlands-based provider of a learning platform for organisations, raised €13M in funding.
The round was led by Pride Capital Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its business reach in Europe, including Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
Launched in 2018 and Zakaria Fouab, CEO, Archipel Academy provides an AI-driven learning platform that enable organizations to offer training courses to employees on a single place. In addition, the platform offers access to over 2,000 trainers and 70,000 training courses.
Services include:
- A personal and flexible Learning Management System
- An intelligent search & book content marketplace in which the demand & supply of educational content converge in no fewer than 70,000 training courses.
- A network of high-end trainers, at least 3000 trainers.
- A comprehensive offering of smart Learning Services, with which Archipel takes over all back-office activities and
- A learning partner in the field of Learning Consultancy & Development.
The platform has grown from 8 people to a team of over 120 employees, with clients such as Heineken, VodafoneZiggo, Philips and Unilever. In 2021, Archipel Academy had acquired Conclusion’s ‘Conclusion Learning Centers’ division.
The company also acquired Edubookers, an Eindhoven, The Netherlands-based booking platform for training courses. The acquisition will enable Archipel to make the catalogue available at European level by the end of this year. Led by Paul Schrama, CEO, Edubookers will continue to exist and will focus on LLD platforms (Lifelong Development) platforms and the The Learning Account under the same name.
