FinanZero, a São Paulo, Brazil-based online credit marketplace, raised USD4m in fourth funding.
Backers included existing investors VEF, Dunross & Co, Atlant Fonder and Webrock Ventures.
The company, which has raised US$27m in total funding, intends to use the funds for further expansion across the country.
Founded by Swedish entrepreneurs Olle Widén and Kristian Jakobsson, FinanZero is an online credit marketplace for personal loans, auto equity, and home equity. The company acts as an independent broker where consumers choose the loan that best suits their financial needs by comparing multiple offers from a network of 60 lenders in a single search. FinanZero currently has 75 employees.
