LEAP24 Raises EUR16.7M in Funding

-

LEAP24, an Amersfoort, The Netherlands-based clean mobility company, raised EUR16.7m in funding.

The round was led by sustainable investment company Meewind, which made a EUR15m investment, with participation from existing backers (Yard Energy Investments and angel investors).

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its network and business reach across the Netherlands and North-West Europe.

Founded in 2021 by Pelle Schlichting and Ferry Bosgra, LEAP24 is a clean mobility company with the aim of making the switch to clean mobility as easy and smooth as possible via charging stations for larger road transport vehicles. Leap24 previously raised an investment of €4.25 million from Yard Energy Investments and angel investors, and opened its first charging station in Almere in May 2022.
