Payverse Closes Seed Round of Funding

Payverse, a Sherman Oaks, CA-based provider of a payment processor, raised an undisclosed amount in Seed funding.

The round was led by The Artemis Fund with participation from Alpha Ascent Ventures, Frank Mastrangelo, Mary Wieler, and Jonathan Palmer.

The company intends to use the funds to hire key talent and further develop its product roadmap – enabling more global commerce capabilities.

Led by CEO Sandra Blair, Payverse provides a payment processor that is focused on enabling global commerce by integrating emerging technologies. Its current product and service offerings include UnionPay US bank sponsorship and acquiring for all 9 billion UPI issued credit and debit cards as well as a modern, modular, end to end payment processing platform suited for existing payment processors accepting any type of payment. In addition to the UnionPay and processing platform product offerings, the company will enable B2B payments, remittances, BNPL, and cryptocurrency processing via their proprietary platform.
