Spinview, a London, UK-based visual intelligence startup helping businesses capture, connect and communicate large volumes of disparate data and transform it into actionable information, raised £5.5m in a pre-Series A funding.
Backers included Alchemmy, the Future Fund and high net worth and angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop the intellectual property for its platform and the corresponding hardware for data capture as part of the process of creating 3D models, while also enhancing its customer success team to ensure success at every stage.
Founded in 2015 by ex-Consulting Director Linda Wade and entrepreneur Zoran Grahovac, Spinview creates measurement accurate volumetric digital twins of buildings and infrastructure to deliver insights on both the health and structure of any building or space. Combining IoT, BIM, Scanning and advance visualisation, data is processed into a visual model of the asset, and AI translates and automates this data into useable information for all the employees in a business.
Today, the company employs 28 people across five territories: the UK, Sweden, USA, Serbia and India with a global network of subcontractors and distributors. Organisations using its technologies include Transport for London, Norwegian Military, SKF, Global and JC Decaux.
