deskbird, a Swiss provider of a workplace management platform, closed a $5m Pre-Series A financing round.
Backers included Fortyone and Rivus Capital as well as existing investor session.vc.
The new funding, which brings total funding to $6.5m since its foundation, will enable the company to continue to expand its business reach across Europe, its product offering to meet additional needs of their enterprise and mid-market customers, and its workforce.
Led by Ivan Cossu, CEO, and Jonas Hess, CPO, Deskbird provides a workplace management app for hybrid companies. Employees can see who is in the office, schedule their office and work-from-home days, and book desks. Workplace managers get a view of statistics like office occupancy and consumption.
The solution offers integrations with MS Teams, Outlook, Google Calendar, Slack, and more, and can tailor its offering and comply with the complex IT security, legal, and data privacy requirements of enterprise customers.
With its workplace app, deskbird already helps to manage over 500 offices across 20 countries, from customers such as Schaeffler, Heineken, KFC, Knauf, Volksbank, and more.
