Omni, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a business intelligence platform, raised $26.9M in funding.

The round includeda $17.5 million Series A led by Redpoint, with participation from First Round and GV, and a $9.4 million Seed led by First Round, joined by Redpoint, GV, Box Group, Quiet, Scribble and more than 100 angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue building its platform and expand the team.

Led by CEO Colin Zima, Omni provides a business intelligence platform that combines a shared data model with SQL. The system builds a sandbox data model as users query and allows them to promote metrics to the official, shared model that the whole organization can use.
