promiseQ, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of a solutions that reduce CCTV ((“closed-circuit television”; video surveillance) false alarms with AI, raised a six figure Pre-Seed funding round.
Backers included APX and business angels such as René Helbig, former CTO of Securitas Germany and owner of WSD Permanent Security GmbH.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.
Co-founded by Elias Kardel and Tolga Ermis, promiseQ reduces IP camera false alarms for video security companies and monitoring centres. By using its B2B SaaS platform, security firms can lower their costs, improve operational efficiencies, and significantly reduce false alarms. The B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product is now being used within the security industry, i.e. by International Security Group and WSD Permanent Security.
