GlossGenius, a New York-based company providing platform for small businesses in the beauty and wellness, raised $25m in Series B funding.
The round, which brings total funding to $44m since the company launched in 2016, was led by Imaginary Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Left Lane Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.
Led by CEO Danielle Cohen-Shohet, GlossGenius provides a platform for small businesses in the beauty and wellness industry such as owners of salons, spas and studios to automate the client experience and streamline their back office management, including payments, booking, inventory, communications, expenses, deposits, reporting, marketing and more.
The technology has surpassed 40,000 businesses and $2B in activity, delivering a salon and studio experience to 14M end-clients.
