Quorum, a Washington, DC-based provider fo public affairs software, acquired Capitol Canary, an Arlington, VA-based company providing grassroots advocacy platform.
The amount of the deal were not disclosed.
By combining its suite of eight integrated products with Capitol Canaryās proven mobilization and digital advocacy tools, Quorum will solidify its leadership in the government and public affairs industry. With this acquisition, The company will serve over 2,000 clients, more than 50% of the Fortune 100, and will have 336 team members committed to providing a premium and integrated customer experience to public affairs professionals.
Capitol Canary is a government affairs technology company providing a suite of advocacy tools used by 1200 organizations including 25% of the Fortune 100 to engage and mobilize supporters and give access to comprehensive intelligence on every level of government, and the contact information for officials and staffers. Nonprofits, associations and companies use Capitol Canary for donor insights, grassroots advocacy, GOTV, strategic communications and stakeholder engagement to gain the edge they need to win their policy battles. In 2021, Capitol Canary acquired policymaker contact provider KnowWho, and GovPredict, a tool for federal, state, and local intelligence. Capitol Canary co-founder and President Jeb Ory will join Quorumās Board of Directors. Ory co-founded Capitol Canary, then known as Phone2Action, with Ximena Hartsock in 2013.
