Willow Servicing, a San Francisco, CA-based cloud-based mortgage servicing platform, closed a $6m seed funding round.
The round was led by Thomvest Ventures. Other backers included Global Asset Capital, The Mortgage Collaborative, Webb Investment Network, and Zigg Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Lede by founder and CEO Laura Cain, Willow Servicing provides a cloud-based mortgage servicing platform that automates routine servicing tasks and compliance. While originally designed to manage the first few payments on a loan, the platform quickly expanded to support additional loan types and processes – from HELOCs and construction loans, to appraisal and payoff fees.
Since launching earlier this year, the company has serviced $750M in loans.
