Alva Labs, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of a digital hiring tool, acquired DevSkills, a Stockholm, Sweden-based creator of coding tests for evaluating technical competence of developers.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Alva Labs will give its customers access to DevSkills’ coding tests through its platform, and will strengthen its product offering as a digital recruitment tool.
Founded by Anton Fenske in 2020, DevSkills offers a library of practical coding tests that help assess a candidate’s technical skills.
Founded in 2017 by Malcolm Burenstam Linder, Peter Schierenbeck and Björn Ström, Alva Labs provides a digital hiring tool for qualifying and comparing job candidates using data and science-driven data-driven candidate assessments. Its two psychometric assessments (logic and personality) combine AI and machine learning with psychometrics and organisational psychology to streamline the hiring process and create a meritocratic experience for recruiters and applicants. Having navigated through the pandemic and the recent tech slowdown, the company has doubled its revenues each year since 2018. In 2022 alone, the team has grown 56%, from 48 to 75 employees, with Alva raising an €11.7m Series A funding in January. Customers included the likes of Deloitte and Northvolt.
