Freepik Company, a Málaga, Spain-based provider of a visual content solutions, acquired two companies.
They are:
- Iconfinder, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based marketplace for icons and illustrations, and
- Original Mockups, a Colombia-based provider of 3D resources and mockup templates.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisitions, Freepik Company will expand internationally to Denmark and Colombia, while creating a complete collection of graphic resources.
Led by CEO Martin LeBlanc, Iconfinder is an online marketplace for icons, illustrations and 3D illustrations, serving 6.5 million graphic resources to designers, developers and creative professionals worldwide.
Led by CEO Alexander Ruiz, Original Mockups is a producer of PSD Mockups, crafting production method that is easily adaptable to new products such as fonts, illustrations, textures, or photography.
Freepik Company is a Spain-based visual content provider, and parent brand of Freepik, Flaticon, Slidesgo, Videvo and Wepik, that offer over 38 million graphic resources. It has more than +470 employees, 450 exclusive remote designers and over 23,000 registered contributors.
