imBee, a Hong Kong-based provider of a chat management platform, raised $5M in Series A funding.

The round was led by DCM.

The company intends to use the funds to advance its platform offerings, expand into existing markets and in the Asia-Pacific region.

Led by CEO Ken Chu, imBee is a chat management platform company, providing conversational engagement to help drive businesses. Through imBee multi-chat management platform, financial and professional services firms, such as banks, securities companies, insurers and property developers, can collaborate and communicate internally and externally on a single interface, and further drive effectiveness and efficiency. Their team collaboration inbox creates a one-chat experience, where a representative from a company can share information between internal teams and a current customer or prospect. External communication channels such as WhatsApp Business API, WeChat, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram, can now be integrated into a platform that is linked to the internal communication system of a company. Capabilities also include integrations with Microsoft Teams and its existing native workflow engine with over 360 applications, i.e. Salesforce and Hubspot.
