Olino (fka Riskee), a Paris, France-based insurtech company, raised €2.2M in seed funding.
The round was led by Newfund, with participation from Astorya.VC, MCapital and some unnamed angels.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach, as well as further extend its offerings.
Led by CEO Quentin Fabre and COO Dorian Jorry, Olino provides an online platform building an “embedded insurance” service. Each professional can choose their cover according to their risks. Olino has 15 digitized insurance products, available in API to allow all platforms & services to VSEs/SMEs, to integrate insurance offers into their customer journey. The company negotiates contracts with the largest insurance companies and relies on +30 partners to meet clients’ needs. Olino currently partners with such companies as Silvr, Axonaut, and some neobanks.
To support policyholders in managing their contracts, the company has also developed a free SaaS platform called Le cockpit by Olino. The platform analyzes the covers to detect potential risks or duplicate guarantees and will offer the user to digitally store their contracts and additional documents such as invoices, vehicle registration documents, etc.
