Ottr, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a Web3 mobile app that holding crypto, raised $3.1m in Pre-Seed funding.
The round was led by Race Capital with participation from Circle Ventures, Slow Ventures, and Kamal Ravikant.
The company intends to use the funds to expand to over 100 countries.
Led by CEO Aleksei Zakharov, Ottr is a Solana-based self-custody crypto app. It enables users around the world to instantly send USDC for free without going through the complicated steps of setting up their self-custody wallet and storing seed phrases. As a next step, Ottr will offer sustainable yield products. In November, the company will release limited Ottr NFTs that users can display as their wallet profiles.
