Outsight, a Paris, France-based provider of LiDAR-based 3D Software solutions, raised $22M in funding.
The round was led by Energy Innovation Capital and the Defense Innovation Fund, with participation from Groupe ADP, BNP Paribas, SPDG, Demeter, Safran, and Faurecia.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand in its product roadmap including Edge and Cloud Processing, and to strengthen its strategic position.
Led by Raul Bravo, President & Cofounder, Outsight develops real-time 3D LiDAR perception solutions working across a number of industries, including Smart Cities, Aviation, Robotics, Industry and Logistics. Its mission is to make LiDAR-based Spatial Intelligence become plug-and-play so it can be used by application developers and integrators in any market. Using any LiDAR with the company’s software processing capabilities allows Smart Machines and Smart Cities to achieve a high level of situational awareness.
