Reap, a Hong Kong-based fintech company powering global financial transactions, raised US$40M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Acorn Pacific Ventures, Arcadia Funds and HashKey Capital, with participation from Hustle Fund, Fresco Capital, Abacus Ventures, and Payment Asia.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into international markets, set up regional hubs and round out management hires throughout Asia, North America and Europe.
Founded by Daren Guo and Kevin Kang, Reap is a financial platform that enables access and financial connectivity through innovation for companies of all sizes. The company combines spend management software with a range of innovative payment products, including the flagship Reap Visa Corporate Credit Card. Reap is committed to helping businesses by providing financial tools that evolve with its customers and the market. Its team currently has over 40 spread across Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Web2 clients include Acer, Buy and Ship, Pirata Group, Sompo Insurance and Wallem Group and more, whilst Web3 customers include Amber Group, Animoca Brands, Binance, Gnosis and LayerZero.
