Cloud 9 Software, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of cloud-based practice management systems for orthodontists, acquired Focus Ortho, an Alabama-based provider of a practice management platform.
The amount of the deal was undisclosed.
With the acquisition, Cloud 9 Software will increase its customer footprint and to accelerate investments in its platform and service delivery. Cloud 9 will continue to support the availability of the Focus Ortho platform for current customers. Likewise, Focus Ortho team members will integrate to become part of the Cloud 9 organization, ensuring continued support for Focus Ortho users.
Focus Ortho provides a cloud-based orthodontic practice management software platform. The company provides support to hundreds of offices across the country as well as Canada. In 2015, Focus Ortho obtained an exclusive license to IMS Practice Management Software and began supporting IMS clients.
Led by CEO Mike Ressel, Cloud 9 Software provides a cloud-based practice optimization platform for orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, Orthodontic Service Organizations, and Dental Service Organizations.
