Diffblue, an Oxford, UK-based provider of autonomous AI-for-code software, raised $8M in funding.
The round was led by AlbionVC with participation from IP Group, Parkwalk, Hostplus and Oxford Technology and Innovations EIS Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO Mathew Lodge, Diffblue uses AI to help software teams improve code quality, expand test coverage and increase productivity. The newly launched version of its solution enables developers to:
- Autonomously write and maintain unit test suites for entire applications;
- Automatically refactor Java code to improve testability;
- Slash the time and cost to run tests in CI (Continuous Integration);
- Help development managers understand test coverage and code risk across their organization.
