GoFreight, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of software for the forwarding industry, raised $23M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Flex Capital and Headline, with participation from FX Venture Partners, Palm Drive Capital, Mucker Capital, Cornerstone Ventures, and Red Building Capital.
The company intends to use the funds for further product advancements and team expansion, specifically around research, development, and customer experience.
Led by CEO and Founder Trenton Chen, GoFreight provides cloud-based software for the global freight forwarding industry. It simplifies the complexities of running all aspects of a freight forwarding business into a single platform, including shipment booking, forwarding operations, security filings, real-time visibility, customer-facing applications, accounting, and payment processing. The platform is accessible from any device type, including mobile phones, desktops, and tablets.
