Raus, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of a platform for nature immersion, raised €3M in funding, bringing the total to over €6M.
The round was led by 10X Founders, with participation from Shio Capital, Bellevue Holding, Boscor group, Ennea VC, as well as Airbnb co-founder Nathan Blecharczyk, Speedinvest, NFQ Capital, and other entrepreneurs and business angels.
The company intends to use the funds to expand further and accelerate the development of its platform.
Led by CEO Julian Trautwein, Raus is a platform for nature immersion. The company offers retreats at locations in the midst of nature. Thanks to a digital booking journey and keyless access, guests can enjoy their holiday and a range of extras around activities, culinary experiences and nature themed knowledge transfer. The platform’s offerings include alpaca hikes, farm visits, guided meditations or food packages from regional farm shops. Raus works closely with private landowners such as farmers and foresters in putting unused land to good use, offering their own services and generating additional income for their businesses.
Since the company’s launch in October 2021, more than 2,000 guests have stayed with Raus. After initially offering locations near Berlin, guests can now book a stay just a stone-throw away from major cities such as Hamburg, Leipzig, Dresden and, most recently, Hannover. The company’s latest launch is the Raus Lodge, a community location designed to accommodate families and larger groups for a collective getaway, or even companies and their employees for retreats and workshops in natural surroundings.
