Simbel, a Paris, France-based provider of a SaaS-based platform for for learning and development, raised €4M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Speedinvest and Brighteye Ventures, with participation from Thibaud Elziere, Virgile Ringeart, Nicolas Steegmann, and Alexandre Eruimy.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion of operations and its product development efforts.
Co-founded in 2021 by Loïc Jourdain and Charles Gras, Simbel allows HR teams to centralize relevant learning and development (L&D) resources––content, training, providers––for their organization and charge them with vetted L&D options. It offers dedicated paths, training upon request, or autonomous learning stipends, saving time for both HR staff as well as individual employees.
The workplace learning platform enables SMBs to:
- Streamline their learning and development operations and drive key performance indicators
- Create and publish their internal trainings, and
- Access to 500+ courses from top providers or add their own in-house learning resources
