Spark, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of a digital art app, raised $2.5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Konvoy, with participation from Long Journey.
The company intends to use the funds for product development, including expanding the variety of digital art tools and creating new game modes.
Co-founded by Laura Mae Brown (CEO) and Moriah Elizabeth, Spark provides a digital space for creative experimentation, expression and design, all with wellbeing at its core. Its app has a number of embedded tools, as well as inspiration galleries that provide users with a basis to learn from one another. The simplified toolkit features pre-drawn assets, patterns, and animations making creations achievable in a few minutes.
The company has built a team spanning across the United States and Mexico.
