The Mobility House, a Munich, Germany-based provider of smart charging for electric vehicles, raised €50M in Series C funding.
The round was led by Mercuria, Ventura Capital, and Green Gateway Fund, with participation from Mercedes-Benz, Alliance Venture, Mitsui, and SP Group.
The company intends to use the funds to expand technology development efforts and its market position in the field of electric vehicle smart charging in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Led by CEO Robert Hienz, The Mobility House aims to create an emissions-free energy and mobility future. Since 2009, the company has developed an expansive partner ecosystem to intelligently integrate electric vehicles into the power grid, including electric vehicle charger manufacturers, 750+ installation companies, 65+ energy suppliers, and automotive manufacturers ranging from Audi to Tesla. The Mobility House has 160+ employees across its operations in Munich, Zurich and Belmont, California.
The company’s recently started trading on the European Power Exchange EPEX SPOT SE.
