Added Health, an Oxford, UK-based provider of a health and lifestyle coaching platform, raised over £1M in funding.
The round was led by Traditum with participation from angels.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its platform and roll it out to a wider audience.
Founded by Michael Stein and Chris Butler, Added Health is a personalized, digital health and wellness coaching service run by doctors and coaches to help people take control of their health for the long-term. The platform, which uses machine learning to gain deeper insights into users’ health and behaviour, is supported by a team of health coaches and doctors. Its coaching incorporates Motivational Interviewing techniques which have proven to change behaviour, and takes a holistic approach centred around the five key pillars of good health – nutrition, exercise, sleep, mental wellbeing and relationships.
The company includes a CQC-regulated screening and diagnostics service.
