Cargoroo, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based electric cargo bike provider, raised €10m in funding.
The round was led by The Sharing Group and Participatiefonds Duurzaam Economie Noord-Holland (PDENH), which joined existing investors Fairtree Elevant Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach across The Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Germany.
Led by CEO Erik de Winter, Cargoroo offers shared electric cargo bikes in both neighbourhoods and shopping streets of urban environments. The concept is available in Eindhoven, Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Nijmegen, and Arnhem, Antwerp in Belgium and Berlin, in Germany and will enter soon in Lyon, in France.
