Classified Cycling, an Antwerp, Belgium and Eindhoven, The Netherlands,-based company developing innovative drivetrain technology for the cycling industry, raised €22M in funding.
The round was led by Active Partners, with participation from Bridford Investments Limited, Tom Boonen, Anna Van der Breggen, Andre Greipel and Marcel Kittel.
The company intends to use the funds to expand Into eBike drivetrains and to enhance its presence In global markets.
Led by CEO Mathias Plouvier, Classified Cycling is a tech company with the mission to create drivetrain products that transform the riding experience and performance of all cyclists. The company has developed Powershift technology, a wireless shifting system that provides an improved shifting experience by allowing riders to change gears while under full load, something not possible with current products on the market. Classified is already in partnership with over 40 brands, and the Powershift is available through more than 25 distributors and 300 dealers in key markets.
