Luminescent, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of a liquid-based isothermal engine solution for waste heat upcycling, raised $7M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Grove Ventures, with participation from Extantia Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to bring its solution to market.
Led by CEO Doron Tamir, Luminescent is generating zero-emission electricity from any source of waste heat. The company provides a liquid-based isothermal engine for efficient, economical waste heat upcycling. The solution utilizes isothermal processes that transform any 100-550℃ heat source, enabling businesses to utilize waste heat as an additional way to turn their sustainability commitments into clean energy cost-cutting decisions.
