Rithum, a London, UK-based smart home connectivity company, raised £250K in Seed funding.
The round was led by Jenson Funding Partners, with participation from the Capital Pilot Boost Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to launch an enhanced version of its product, further develop its hardware and software plug-in technology and hire software engineering talent.
Led by CEO Ryan Ovens, Rithum produces a touch panel that replaces a standard light switch, providing smart home control of systems like lighting, audio and climate in one device. Paid software add-ons make the product suitable for the mid- and upper- market whilst keeping it accessible to consumers. as well as crowd investors.
Since being founded in 2020, Rithum has sold over 1,600 devices and hundreds of plug-ins, and has been distributed across multiple European markets.
