Zappi, a Boston, MA-based provider of a consumer insights platform designed for creators, raised $170M in Growth funding.
The round was led by Sumeru Equity Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand data sets across new markets, verticals and categories, power its platform innovation with emerging technologies–such as AI and natural language processing–to minimize the distance between analysis and action; and continue expanding its team globally with talent to make customers on the platform.
Led by CEO Steve Phillips, Zappi provides a consumer insights platform designed for professionals, marketers and product innovators. More than 350 of progressive brands including PepsiCo, McDonald’s, Heineken®, and Reckitt, use the it to understand consumers, accelerate innovation pipeline, and optimize ads and products before they go to market with pre-launch data.
Zappi has a team of over 300 people in 13 countries.
