Style3D, a Hangzhou, China-based digital solution provider in the global fashion industry, acquired Assyst, a Munich, Germany-based fashion technology company.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Style3D will gain a foothold in Europe’s fashion technology market, and be able to extend its 2D and 3D CAD-integration systems.
Led by CEO Andreas Seidl, Assyst is a fashion technology company working in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and is a key partner for digitization in the apparel industry. With its integrated systems for 3D, CAD, marker-making and order optimization, the company links development and production and helps to develop, produce and market apparel competitively. The company works through the know-how and expertise of around 120 employees at Assyst’s Munich and Milan sites, together with more than 35 years of experience in apparel industry technology. Assyst operates around the world and has partners in over 50 countries.
