The ISH Company, a Rockland, DE-based startup advancing sustainable plant-based seafood alternatives, raised over $5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by ACCELR8, with participation from Stray Dog Capital, and multiple angel investors.
The company, which has raised a total of nearly $10 million to date, intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and development of its plant-based food products.
Led by CEO Bernard David, The ISH Company is a certified B-Corp, plant-based food company whose mission is to deliver plant-based foods worldwide. Its first product, launched in 2022, is Shrimpish, a plant-based shrimp. The company also has a product portfolio in development with more than 25 products, including salmon, cod, crab, and lobster alternatives.
The company’s products are currently available to consumers in various restaurants, colleges, and universities across the country.
