Apprentice.io, a Jersey City, NJ-based provider of a platform for life science manufacturers to turn molecules into medicine, raised $65M in funding.

The round, which brought the total raised to $207M, was led by ICONIQ Growth, with participation from existing investors, Alkeon Capital Management and Insight Partners. 

The company intends to use the funds to expand the sales, marketing, and customer success functions.

Led by CEO Angelo Stracquatanio, Apprentice provides a technology platform that allows life science manufacturers to get therapeutics to patients by turning molecules into medicine. The company’s Tempo Manufacturing Cloud accelerates the end-to-end drug product lifecycle by connecting together distributed teams and sites, helping them execute on the shop floor, and sharing real-time enterprise-wide visibility. 15 of the top 20 US pharma companies use it to accelerate high-quality production of drugs for diseases of all types, from COVID to cancer.
