Kovalee, a Paris, France-based mobile app developer, raised €8M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Iris, with participation from Breega and Bpifrance, as well as Alan Fung, and Alexandre Berriche.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its team with plans to double the headcount by the end of 2023.
Led by CEO Vincent Hart de Keating, Kovalee allows developers to grow their apps globally by leveraging its expertise and in-house science and data. The company works by adapting the model already used in the gaming sector to consumer apps in such sectors as fitness, food, productivity, among others. By leveraging AI, ML, and proprietary automation technologies, Kovalee provides the tools to develop an app in several areas such as user experience, user acquisition, app store optimization and monetization. Since its creation, Kovalee has worked with over twenty partners.
