Metycle, a Cologne, Germany-based provider of an online trading platform, raised €1.5M in Pre-Seed funding.
The round was led by One Capital and DFF, as well as angel investors Tom Bird and Louis Pfitzner.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to increase its offering in ensuring product quality and in expanding its service offerings in financing and hedging for buyers.
Led by Sebastian Brenner and Rafael Suchan, Metycle is a global end-to-end marketplace trading platform that enables the digital, fast, and efficient trade of secondary metals. The company facilitates easy access to metal scrap and recycled metals for the production supply chain, ensures trust and quality via specialized agents and by acting as distributor on its own account, and helps to match and monetize CO2 savings across the value chain.
