XXII, a Paris, France-based AI computer vision company, raised €22M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Fonds Innovation Défense, 574 Invest, CIB Développement, Techmind, Kima Ventures, and the Duval Group.

The company intends to use the funds to

  • Maintain its position as market leader in computer vision with R&D and recruiting new talent
  • Mass deploy its technology
  • Address new markets and speed up international development in the US, Europe and the Middle East

Established in 2015 by William Eldin and Damien Mulhem, XXII is a provider of a SaaS platform for the deployment and configuration of video stream analysis algorithms (XXIICORE) that enables operational teams to control and optimise their activities in the field for faster and more efficient decision making.

The company has more than 70 employees.
