Amboss Technologies, a Portland, OR-based data analytics company for the Bitcoin Lightning Network, raised $4M in Seed funding.
Backers included Stillmark, Valor Equity Partners, Draper Associates, Fulgur Ventures, and Ride Wave Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to bolster its efforts in AI research and product development.
Led by CEO Jesse Shrader, Amboss is an analytics provider for the Bitcoin Lightning Network, which uses machine learning to offer routing and tools for decentralized finance. The firm supports merchants and consumers in identifying optimal peers and payment paths based on cost, reliability or reputation, as well as enterprise-grade risk management. Amboss also operates Magma, a Lightning Channel buying and selling marketplace which is a platform for users to earn bitcoin returns from savings without giving up custody.
