Libraro, a London, UK-based blockchain book publishing platform, raised £2m in funding.
nChain is making the investment and is taking a 20% equity stake in the company, which will use the funds for development and adoption of its solution.
Led by Arsim Shilova, CEO, Libraro aims to innovate the book publishing industry with blockchain technology. Emerging from the blockchain incubator program Block Dojo, which forms part of nChain Group, Libraro leverages crowd reading to connect authors with readers and publishers in an innovative way.
By leveraging nChain’s Web3 and Blockchain IP portfolio, the partnership will enhance Libraro’s platform capabilities. nChain will also support the company through development and professional services, using their expertise in building apps and providing back-end blockchain infrastructure.
