Navan, a Palo Alto, CA-based travel and expense management app, acquired Tripeur, a Bengaluru, India-based travel management company.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The agreement marks the fifth acquisition for the Navan Group in two years, following purchases in the UK, Germany, Sweden, and Spain. Tripeur will enable Navan to scale and localize its technology in order to improve its offerings for enterprise customers. The addition of Tripeur enhances the company’s footprint, with offices now in Amsterdam, Atlanta, Austin, Bengaluru, Berlin, Dallas, Dublin, Gurgaon (Delhi), Gothenburg, Lisbon, London, New York City, Palo Alto, Paris, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle, Singapore, Sydney, and Tel Aviv.
Founded in 2015 by Thiagarajan Rajagopalan and Sajit Chacko and backed by investors including Pentathlon Ventures and Incubate Fund, Tripeur is a corporate travel experience solution provider that allows users to book their travel, analyze spending and control expenses. Specialized GST technology enables the automatic reconciliation of employee purchases, removing the complex burden from finance teams.
Led by CEO Ariel Cohen, Navan is an app that simplifies travel and spending, which enables people, from EAs and finance teams to travel managers and employees, to focus on the business while providing companies with real-time visibility, savings, and control.
