Reactional Music, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of a music delivery platform, raised a seven figure Pre-Series A funding round.
The round was led by Amanotes, and Butterfly Ventures, with participation from angel investors including Kelly Sumner.
The company intends to use the funds to deliver its beta platform and SDK for developers, continue its music licensing operations and scaling of its team across development, technical support and music supervision.
Reactional is a global music delivery platform that is device, service and system agnostic, with rights cleared music for developers and gamers, enabling scalable platforms and services for B2B and B2C markets. It enables any music and sound to be brought into the game to create an immersive soundtrack that reacts in real-time around the user.
The company is working on several pilot projects. The Reactional Engine is also being used in a commercially available game for PS5 and PS VR2. The platform will be live in 2023.
The company has also completed multiple music rights agreements with commercial and production music rights holders including Hipgnosis Song Management.
