Stack Identity, a Menlo Park, CA-based startup automating identity and access management (IAM) governance, raised $4M in Seed funding.
The round was co-led by WestWave Capital and Benhamou Global Ventures. Additional investors in the round include Plug and Play and notable cybersecurity investors.
The company intends to use the funds to scale product development, strengthen go-to-market strategies and expand customer reach, including SMBs, mid-market and enterprises.
Led by Venkat Raghavan, CEO and Founder, Stack Identity is a company focused on cloud IAM operations to detect, eliminate, and govern unauthorized, unmonitored, and invisible shadow access. Through its patent-pending Breach Prediction Index (BPI) algorithm, applied with data insights and application context, the system reveals toxic login combinations impacting data assets and empowers security teams in the cloud to quickly prioritize and automate remediation.
