TheGuarantors, a New York-based fintech company building smart financial and insurance solutions for renters and landlords, raised $35M in Growth funding.
CIBC Innovation Banking provided the funding. With the completion of this round, TheGuarantors has raised over $110M in equity and debt financing with backers including Portage Ventures, Kensington Capital Partners, and White Star Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to invest in product, engineering, and growth.
Led by CEO Julien Bonneville, TheGuarantors is a fintech company that offers tools to improve affordability and accessibility for households renting their homes. Through its platform and partnerships with multiple A-rated carrier partners, the company offers renters and landlords a suite of financial tools to overcome traditional barriers.
