Whizz, a New York-based provider of an e-bike subscription platform, raised $3.4M in Seed funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $4.5M, saw participation from Joint Journey, TMT Investments and a group of angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth, upgrade the platform and set up new locations in New York.
Founded in 2021 and led by CEO Mike Peregudov, Whizz is an e-bike subscription platform that offers long-range e-bikes, on-demand maintenance and same-day replacements for delivery drivers powered by its Whizz Automation Platform.
The company operates in New York and its rental service has been used by more than 2,000 delivery workers since its inception, including drivers from Uber Eats, Doordash and Grubhub.
