Crew3, a Paris, France-based web3 community engagement platform, rebranded to Zealy and announced a $3.5M pre-seed funding round.
The round was led by Redalpine with participation from Connect Ventures, Aglaé Ventures, Kima Ventures, Purple, STATION F, Founders Future, Pareto Holdings, and industry expert business angels from The Sandbox, POAP, DFNS, Starton, and Pianity.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its engineering, product, and design teams.
Designed and developed by Fredrika Lindh, Louis Demeslay, and Mathis Grosjean, Zealy helps web3 companies to engage, analyze and scale their community. On its platform, members can connect with each other through a variety of gamified tasks before, during, and after product launches, digital asset releases, or physical and virtual events. Potential actions range from playing mini-games to creating user-generated content or coding a web page.
The platform currently has 500,000 monthly active users who have completed 100 million tasks across 180 countries. Zealy helps 2,000 companies to engage, analyze and scale their community, including web3 leaders and web2 corporates such as Renault and Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU).
