Exiger, a New York-based SaaS company that allows corporations, government agencies and banks to manage supply chains, acquired Ion Channel, a Portland, OR-based provider of a software supply chain risk management platform.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Exiger will enhance the depth of its offering. Exiger will add Ion Channel’s C-SCRM solution to its FedRAMP SaaS platform, which provides access to 16.8 million unique supply chains, 600 million legal entities, and 7 billion source records of supply chain installations.

Founded in 2016 and led by CEO JC Herz, Ion Channel assures critical systems in defense, energy and medical devices, and is extending these capabilities into other regulated industries including financial services and telecommunications. Their proprietary risk model analyzes 1.5 trillion events in open-source and proprietary software components daily and tracks over 100 risk indicators to detect security and operational risk months in advance of known vulnerabilities.

Led by CEO Brandon Daniels, Exiger helps businesses, government agencies and banks manage risk and compliance in their third parties, supply chains and customers through its software and technology solutions.
