Myocene, a Liège, Belgium-based sportstech company, raised €2M in Bridge funding.
Backers in the round, which was comprised of capital and a convertible loan, included Wallonie Entreprendre, Noshaq and the historical founders.
The company intends to use the funds to finalize a market-ready product, expected mid-2024.
Led by Dr Pierre Rigaux, Chairman and Founder, Myocene is a sports technology company that leverages patented algorithms and AI to create innovative devices that measure athletes’ muscle fatigue and performance, enabling them to better design their training, avoid overtraining and reduce accidents linked to the loss of strength and speed secondary to long-term muscular fatigue.
