Vensum Power, an Espoo, Finland-based power conversion tech startup, raised €3.8m in seed funding.
The round was led by Lifeline Ventures with participation from Grid.vc, Harjavalta, and Business Finland.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to advance its tech platform.
Led by Peter Nisula, CEO, Vensum Power has developed a small 25kW isolated dc-dc software-defined power converter™, designed to reduce switching losses to the minimum via propriety softswitching methods and deliver optimal performance across a wide range of applications including EV charging, DC microgrids, energy storage, solar power, testbeds, and wind power.
