Honey Homes Raises $9M in Series A Funding

Honey Homes, a Lafayette, CA-based membership service delivering complete home upkeep and maintenance, raised $9m in Series A funding.

The round, which brought total funding raised to over $12.1m, was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from Pear VC, Teambuilder Ventures, and Moving Capital, along with DoorDash co-founders Tony Xu and Stanley Tang, Lyft co-founder Logan Green, Opendoor co-founder Eric Wu, and Mercury co-founder Immad Akhund, among others. As part of the Series A round, Evan Moore, a partner at Khosla Ventures has joined Honey Homes’ Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to further innovate on its service and technology offerings, accelerate member growth, and expand into new markets.

Led by Vishwas Prabhakara, CEO, Honey Homes provides a membership service for complete home upkeep and maintenance. Members are paired with a dedicated handyperson who becomes a partner for all of their home needs. Ongoing home improvements and preventative tasks are managed through the mobile app, a concierge hub where members can also receive guidance from an expert team and schedule appointments. The platform has completed over 20,000 home tasks for hundreds of members across the San Francisco Bay Area and Dallas.
