Kodem, a Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel-based provider of a software composition analysis (SCA) platform, raised $25M in Seed and Series A funding.
The rounds included a Series A led by Greylock with participation from TPY Capital, and a Seed round co-led by the two investment firms.
The company intends to use the funds to launch its platform globally and expand its go-to-market team.
Founded by Aviv Mussinger (CEO), Pavel Furman (CTO), and Idan Bartura (Head of Engineering), Kodem provides a platform that defends software applications from manipulation and attacks through runtime intelligence. Its core patented technology enables users to monitor applications in a non-intrusive way and to analyze its behavior and actual risks in real time.
Kodem is currently used by companies across industries, including financial services, insurance, and technology. According to a written note, early customer data shows that less than 10 percent of all software is actually used in runtime and that less than 5 percent of runtime software is actually vulnerable.
